The Brief

Designed as a future-focused workplace that explores the relationship between energy, movement and human interaction. The space balances strong conceptual thinking with warmth and functionality, supporting both collaboration and focused work.

A curved bespoke banquette anchors the lounge, encouraging relaxed conversation and informal collaboration. Referencing wind patterns and airflow, the softened forms subtly define the space within the open-plan office. A turbine-inspired ceiling feature and layered lighting introduce movement, reflecting Globeleq’s energy-led identity and inviting users into the space.

The interior palette reflects Globeleq’s corporate identity through earthy orange tones and deep, moody greys, balancing warmth with composure. Neutral whites and black accents add contrast and refinement. Curved patterns define key zones within the workplace, while integrated elements of biophilia support the innate human tendency to seek connections with nature.

A sculptural installation reimagines the modular logic of solar panels as an interactive feature. Stylised solar cells capture and reflect ambient light, shifting subtly as elements rotate. Acting as both a focal point and spatial divider, the installation expresses energy in motion – a visual interpretation of Globeleq’s innovative approach to power generation.

Enclosed acoustically-tight meeting pods provide flexible spaces for focused work, confidential conversations and online meetings. Acoustic felt panels enhance privacy, while concealed ambient lighting keeps the spaces calm and comfortable. These pods support a workplace that requires concentration, collaboration and adaptability across diverse teams.
